When I got the call from Tonyia Terry that she really liked my photography style and wanted to inquire about my wedding service. We set up a date & time to meet in person.
Fast forward, we started planning Tonyia’s bridal session, and she asked me if I knew of a good location for bridal pictures.
I said sure, but with Tonyia, I felt I needed to do things a little differently. So, I gave Tonyia the task of finding a location that she thought was beautiful and let me look at it.
Tonyia Terry Choose the Perfect Spot for Her Bridal Session!
Within a week, Tonyia sent me a text message with a picture of a spot she thought was perfect. We set a date to meet at the location so she could tell me how she had envisioned her bridal session.
When I pulled into the parking lot of the corporate building, I rechecked the address because I thought I was at the wrong location.
Once I got out and walked around the premises, Tonyia explained how she saw herself taking pictures on top of the rock, on the bridge, running with a hamburger, etc., it became the perfect spot for Tonyia Terry’s bridal session.
There was no fancy landscape. It had the water she wanted in the background. It was the perfect spot for Tonyia’s bridal pictures. Nothing fancy, it was simple and beautiful at the same time.
I asked Tonyia what caught her attention? She said it was the water fountain and the rocks you see in the background. She explained to me in detail how she was going to get on top of the rocks and take her pictures. 😂

We had just finished taking pictures on the rocks and were headed to the bridge when we take a few poses of Tonyia on the lawn just behind the corporate building.

Since we opted to perform Tonyis’s bridal session as the sun began to set, we moved the session from the rocks to the bridge just behind the corporate building and used the apartment complex across the lake for the background.

As we brought Tonyia’s bridal session to a close, we took a few pictures on the bridge between the two corporate buildings for a beautiful background.

On our way to get the last few shots of the bridal session for Tonyia Terry, we were stopped by two young ladies who wanted to tell Tonyia how pretty she looked.
Tonyia stopped to say thank you and tell the young ladies how beautiful and precious they were.
Then End of the Session
Flawless is how Tonyia Terry describes her bridal pictures and the only word that truly paints a picture without seeing the whole bridal session for yourself.
When it comes to scheduling a bridal session, some photographers insist on choosing the location whiles others may leave it up to the bride. A few of us go with the flow mix it up.
In Tonyia’s case, I wanted to mix it up, since this was her first and last bridal session as Tonyia Terry.
Nevertheless, you want a location that fits the bride’s personality, one that she likes, and if possible, a reason for choosing the location.
This bridal session was taken in Sugar Land, TX at a corporate just East of Hwy 59. But Sugar Land is an unlimited number of locations for a beautiful bridal session.
