When I got the text message that Noah Norman was planning to propose to Santanta, and he wanted a few pictures of him when he proposed to his fiance. I was ready for the session.
If you’ve never shot a proposal session, you’ll smile from ear to ear throughout the entire event because the couple is having fun from start to finish.
This makes shooting a proposal session exciting, engaging, and fun because the bride usually has no idea that her soon-to-be groom is about to pop the question.
This is when I get myself & my camera into position to catch the tears as they fall.

Game planning Noah Norman’s proposed session!
Due to Noah’s tight schedule, we bounced a few text messages back & forth until we got a chance to talk over the phone and create a plan to make it happen.
A few days later we got together at Bayshore Park in Baycliff, TX where he wanted to propose and came up with a game plan.
Actually, Noah had created an excellent game plan that involved everyone on the bride’s side of the family who knew what was about to happen and kept the secret except Santanta.
It was as if her entire family was sitting on a box of needles except for the bride who was about to get the surprise of her life.

Walking Along the Water He Proposed
It was game time and Noah Norman is about to pop the question.
The stage was set and I was in the perfect position to catch the one-time Noah wanted to remember.
When they arrived, I took a few pictures of the couple holding hands and walking along the water until they came to the spot Noah wanted to pop the question.
Within a few minutes, he proposed and Santanta accepts with an exciting smile you can’t but see.

Strolling Through the Park
After Noah Norman proposed and his bride accepted, the couple took a stroll through the park for a few pictures as a newly engaged couple.
I followed close by capturing those candid moments that make the wall-mounted canvas designs you love to have in your home.

The Ring
While they were taking pictures, I kept my eye open for a couple of nice spots so we could take a few pictures of her engagement ring.
I found a nice spot near the bridge leading onto the lake.
I took the ring and placed it on a branch in the grass, creating a lovely background along with a couple of pictures with the ring placed on her hand.

When the couple gets married, we’ll come back and share a few of our favorite pictures from the bridal, engagement, wedding ceremony & reception of Noah Norman and Santanta becoming his wife.
